Weight Loss

 Instead of trying to maintain a weight-loss blog, I decided a progress page would suffice.  This is mainly for my benefit, but you are certainly welcome to follow along!

I've struggled with my weight for years.  Add on kidney disease, dialysis, transplant, and a gazillion medications (including Prednisone), and you've got the perfect storm, LOL!  It may be harder for me to lose weight than some, but not impossible, so I am here putting in the work.

I am following a plan that I can maintain after the weight is gone - and for me, that is a plant-based diet.  The only way to lose weight is through a calorie deficit, so I am focusing on portion control and exercise.

Updates will be sporadic since I won't be checking my weight every week (that just drives me crazy!).
